In a saucepan, heat the eggnog, maple syrup, and nutmeg until boiling. Once boiling, remove from heat.
Whip the eggnog mixture with a milk frother or immersion blender until frothy.
Brew the espresso or coffee into a mug, then top with the eggnog mixture. Top with whipped cream and more nutmeg if desired!

This recipe can easily be doubled for 2 lattes!
If you don't have a frother or an immersion blender, you can (carefully, and with not-too-hot eggnog!) pour the eggnog mixture into a glass jar and give it a good shake to make the eggnog foamy.
You can use store bought eggnog, but I've had the best results with my homemade eggnog recipe (it is so rich and creamy). If you're dairy-free, try my coconut milk eggnog instead!
