We've turned pumpkin pie into a martini, complete with whipped cream and cinnamon. Find out how to make this sweet, dessert drink for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and other fall parties!
Prepare your martini glass by dipping the edges in water, then dipping again in the Cinnamon sugar.
Make the cocktail by adding 1 ½ ounces vanilla vodka, 3 tablespoon pumpkin puree, 1 ounce maple syrup, 1 ounce half and half, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, and A handful of ice cubes to your cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, about 20-25 times, then strain out into your martini glass and discard the ice.
Top with a dollop of Whipped cream (or a frozen whipped cream cloud, see notes) and dust with more pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon! Serve!
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled to make two martinis.
To make frozen whipped cream clouds: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a can of ready-to-use whipped cream, spray dollops of whipped cream onto the parchment paper and place them in the freezer for at least 60 minutes before making your martini.
Regular vodka can be used in place of the vanilla vodka, but the martini won’t be quite as sweet.
You can also use pumpkin pie filling instead of the plain pumpkin puree for an extra sweet cocktail!
To make your own pumpkin pie spice, combine 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons ground ginger, 1 teaspoon ground cloves, and ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg. Use ½ teaspoon of this mixture in each martini.
This drink is best when made and served immediately.
