Homemade Italian dressing is a far cry from what you’ll find in the grocery store. A few simple ingredients go a long way when it comes to this salad dressing.
1tablespoonfresh minced parsley OR 2 teaspoons dried parsley
¼medium oniondiced (about 2 tablespoons) OR 2 teaspoons onion powder
Juice of ½ lemonabout 2 tablespoons
1tablespoonfresh minced basil OR 2 teaspoons dried basil
1tablespoonfresh minced oregano OR 2 teaspoons dried oregano
1clovegarlicfinely minced OR 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1teaspoonhoney
1teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid, and shake until well combined. Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until well combined and smooth.
Refrigerate and let flavors blend for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours, before serving.
