Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons ginger powder
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder plus additional for coating
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2-4 tablespoons raw honey

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the ginger, cocoa, and sea salt.
  • Add in honey, starting with 2 tablespoons, and mix. Add in more honey until it becomes the texture of a thick batter or bread dough.
  • Fill a saucer with additional cocoa powder. Then, with damp hands, roll the mixture into ½” balls (about the size of a chickpea), and then roll to coat in the cocoa powder.
  • Store bites in the fridge for up to three weeks, or dehydrate on the lowest setting for 4-6 hours and store at room temperature for up to three months.
  • Eat a bite whenever your stomach feels upset. If trying to prevent motion sickness, take one at least an hour before travel.
