I can’t believe this day is finally here! After over two years of work, I am so excited/thrilled/honored/nervous/terrified to announce the launch of a passion project I’ve been working on with my dear friend Krissie Bentley of The Yoga Still.
Introducing Resprout: A Come As You Are Wellness Project
Resprout is a six week wellness program designed to empower you in the kitchen, on the mat, and everywhere throughout your life. Along the way, we’ll navigate the path to body acceptance—one yoga practice, meditation, and meal at a time. You can join us here.
Why did you create Resprout?
Krissie and I have both been on a journey to body acceptance over the past few years and along that journey, we became super frustrated with the lack of representation of bodies like ours in the wellness space—and with that frustration, the seeds of Resprout were planted.
Between the two of us, we have decades of combined experience in the wellness industry (she as a counselor, life coach, and yoga teacher, me as a recipe developer, cookbook author, and wellness influencer), and together, we have a deep love for empowering people living in all sizes of bodies to find what wellness means to them.
What’s different about Resprout?
Our core belief is that health and happiness can be achieved in all kinds of bodies, and Resprout is your blueprint for approaching wellness through the lens of self-love, nourishment, and body acceptance.
Many wellness programs out there start you off with a baseline belief of “your body is wrong and needs to be changed on a fundamental level.” We don’t believe that. We believe your body is a good body, and you have everything you need already within you to live your healthiest, happiest life. We’re not here to change you. We’re here to walk the path of wellness alongside you.
What’s included in Resprout?
We’re so proud of the hundreds of hours of work we put into producing high quality content for Resprout! That includes dozens of video yoga practices and audio meditation tracks, full weekly menus and grocery lists, over 100 exclusive recipes, beautifully-designed guidebooks, and topical cooking school videos—all organized in an easy-to-follow week-by-week structure.
We also have a robust private Facebook group where you can ask me and Krissie questions, join us for popup yoga and cooking classes, and connect with your fellow community members!
