Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced OR 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid, shake until well combined.
  2. Refrigerate and let flavors blend for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours, before serving.

Notes

Add a pinch of cinnamon to make a dressing that is DELICIOUS on top of salads with fruit. My favorite is spinach, pear, blue cheese, and walnuts!

You can swap out the olive oil for any other mild-flavored oil (I like avocado oil!).
