Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all have been having an awesome few days off for the holidays. We've been relaxing at home for the past while, but with the new year roundin' the bend, it's time for me to get back on track in all aspects of my life—including back on the health and wellness train. And I put together January's wellness calendar to help. If you’ve never downloaded one of my wellness calendars before, these little guys have. . . Read more »
This giveaway is now CLOSED. So, even though technically my cookbook isn't officially released until January 4th here in the States, the printer finished up early and lots of folks have been receiving their books early from various retailers (and if you're in Canada, it's already in stores!). Yay! First of all, thank you SO much to everyone who has already ordered the book for themselves or for others. It means the world to me that you'd spend your hard-earned. . . Read more »

I got a new mattress pad, a new comforter, and a new throw, but the absolute best purchase was a new set of flannel sheets. I always had flannel sheets in the winter growing up, but when I got my own place, never got around to getting a set until now. I forgot how. . . Read more »
Whenever I do my holiday baking, I try to break up the deluge of sugar with a few savory (or at least, less sweet) treats, too. Everyone gets so many tins full of sugar cookies and fudge and snickerdoodles, that I always find it nice to get something a little bit different, too (although, admittedly, my tins this year will also include sugar cookies, fudge and snickerdoodles). This year, I'm including some dark chocolate almond and blueberry clusters (a recipe. . . Read more »
I don't know what it is about Christmas that brings out the raging craft monster in me, but it's pretty much guaranteed that I'm covered head to toe in glitter and glue for the entire month of December. There are so many craft projects that I could never "find time" for during the rest of the year that magically bubble up to the top of the priority list come Black Friday.
